Breaking Free from Rules

You can’t create an extraordinary life while clinging to ordinary rules. That’s something I’ve come to learn—not from books or teachers, but through experience.

The Mirror

Recently, I crossed paths with someone who mirrored me in a way that was… inconvenient. Not in the easy, surface-level way—“Oh, we like the same music”—but in the way that unsettles your inner world. The way that forces you to face your own fire. It doesn’t happen often. When it does, it rearranges you.

Because when that mirror appears—when someone reflects you back to yourself with that kind of clarity—you either expand into the truth of who you are… or you run from it.

The Truth of Transformation

And the truth? Nothing is scarier than looking into a mirror and not recognizing yourself anymore. And yet—that’s what real transformation is. That’s what rebirth feels like. And growth? Growth isn’t comfort. It’s fire.

Over the years, I’ve shifted. Quietly. Subtly. I stopped obeying the old rules—what’s “right,” what’s “wrong,” what’s “righteous,” or “acceptable.” ….  Because at some point, I understood: Those rules were never written for people like me.

The Eternal Soul

The deeper truth is this: We’re not who we think we are. Not really. We are eternal beings wearing flesh. Borrowing names like Myriam or Mira just to play out this round. But the soul remembers. The soul always remembers who matters.

When two souls recognize each other again here on Earth—when the pull is immediate, the comfort too deep to explain—it’s not chance. It’s memory. Some call that fate. I call it truth. I call it home.

Soul Connections

Because some strangers aren’t strangers at all. They’ve just changed faces. But the feeling doesn’t lie. You don’t question it. You don’t analyze it. You just know: This one belongs.

And when you meet someone like that, you can’t un-know them. Even if you try. Even if you lie to yourself. Because the soul doesn’t forget. It calls them back—across countries, across time, across lives.

I know this because I’ve walked with members of my soul family in this lifetime. Some are soul sisters & brothers & other. The journey is so much richer when shared at that level—when someone sees you, all of you, and mirrors it back.

Embracing Your Truth

I no longer bend myself to fit inside the walls of other people’s fear. I no longer follow rules that were built to contain lesser lives.

So if you’ve been lucky enough to find someone who mirrors your soul, someone who lit the fire inside you in a way you didn’t expect… Then maybe stop running. Because the soul doesn’t forget. And the mirror doesn’t lie.
